Keeping information safe

Messages can be about real people and real appointments, so we keep things simple and careful.

  • Messages about a person are never put on the internet.
  • Answers do not include people’s names.
  • You choose the date a web link stops working.
  • A person checks every message before it is sent.
  • Web links are hard to guess and are hidden from search engines.
  • We are making sure everything we do follows UK data protection law.
Can a message ask people questions?

Yes. People answer with one tap and you get a simple summary of the answers. We do not collect names unless a job needs it and you have agreed how it will be handled.

What about real-looking pictures?

They are made with AI from our drawings and are not photographs of real people. A person checks every picture before it is used.

Where is information kept?

This website is hosted by Hostinger, on a server in the UK. Its backups are kept in Germany. Messages are hosted by Vercel. If a message asks questions, the answers are stored in an Upstash database in London.

What is kept when someone answers?

Only their answers, the day they answered, and a random code for their device, so answering again replaces their earlier answers. We do not keep names or internet addresses. You decide how long answers are kept, and we delete them when you ask.

Does this website track me?

No. It has no cookies, no adverts and no tracking. If you email us, we only use your email to reply.

Do you use AI?

Yes. AI helps us write the easy words and make the voice. A person checks everything before it is sent.
